Methods for controlling emotions and sciences

Now, we all know what emotions are, how emotions are made, why emotions are important benefits of controlling emotions and what people do to control their emotions. From the survey results, I got from my own survey and research I have done after the survey, I want to recommend several effective ways to control emotions and why you should try those ways.


First, I recommend you to exercise and play sports when your emotions are out of your control. There are some reasons why I recommend you to exercise when you can’t control emotions. Outside physical activities promote many things to change. It promotes neural growth, inflammation. Also, physical activities release chemical element called ‘Endorphins’ which is one of neurotransmitters. This neurotransmitter helps you to feel good and be happy when it is released. Also, it is clearly shown through the studies that both exercise and endorphins promote the increase of antibodies which protect our bodies from antigens. Then eventually it assists the immune system from diseases. Therefore, people who are happy tend to be more healthier while people with depression and anxiety tend to be vulnerable to diseases.

Second, I recommend you to enjoy music whether that might be singing songs or listening to songs when you want to keep yourself happy. There are many studies’ conclusions saying that music affects our emotions through various brain circuits. This is why music is widely used and accepted as a sort of therapy for a mental disorder. There are two main reasons why I recommend music for everyone to try. To begin with, when you sing a song, hormone called oxytocin is released. Oxytocin influences social behavior and emotions and it may help people with depression, anxiety and autistic disorder. Therefore, this helps people have better communication and understanding of each other. Moreover, when you listen to a song, hormone called dopamine is released which is a type of neurotransmitter and controls pleasure center and reward-motivated system. Therefore, when you listen to a song, you may get motivation and not fall in depression.

Therefore, I think the two most effective ways of controlling emotions are exercise and music. They both make the brain release a specific hormone which helps people find relief and feeling happiness.
